With the files that i attach here is very easy to find the components on the PCB. I want to check the values of R7, R8, R12, R14, C3 on other units.

If anyone there has one of this early tube drivers please post the guts. But i would maybe change R14 and R12 to the old values and listen what happens. Will the 3 knob Bk get me close to that sound Thanks. I know I like the sound of the Butler and chandler 4 knob but I just don't have 300 or more to shell out on one right now. Also I think the 4 knob plugs into the wall 120v and the three knob I think runs off of 9v. The new RI version is better than the old one regarding PWR Supply, noise etc. The 3 knob just has one know for EQ and the four knob says high and low. > C3: Was not identified on the guts pictures. > R12: increased from 10k to 22k in the new RI Edition. Was this unit moded for lower gain tubes? "Tube Driver" can you please measure the bias voltage in both R7 and R8? > R7,R8: From the pictures the plate resistors look like 6,8k. Shroud of the avatar forsaken virtues auf Deutsch Torrent Download. Maybe 2,2k works better when one rolls off both the Bass and High a la Eric Johnson? Several people reported that the tone stack reacted different on the new version vs. > R14: On the new RI version it increased from 2,2k to 22k. The most significant differences compared to the new RI edition are:

Something about a 1957 Hammond and a 1957 Chevy that speaks to the quality of what was manufactured in the USA in those days.As promised here is the schematic of the early tube driver traced from the guts posted on this thread. We have several 1957 B3's and some 1957 C3's in our store along with most of the other years as well. We have had to recone dozens of V-21's in the last year so I am hypersensitive about pushing them too hard. (Maybe be on the lookout for a spare V-20?) Most V-21's would not handle the 11 setting. This pedal is legendary, used by Eric Johnson, Kenny Wayne. I found this one at Guitar Resurrection in Austin Texas.

It’s kind of like having a section of your amp right in a pedal. It's working for you so carry on, and you are the BEST, hard playing Hammond player around. The Tube Driver houses a preamp tube and it generates distortion by overdriving the tube rather than conventional pedal methods. I personally do not suggest running the Leslie on 11 and am amazed that your V-20 speaker has lasted so long. when turned up, it´s fine (probably not down to 20hz, but well enough low-end) got mine set to borderline-clean, so it doesn´t start crunching.

The primo 5-knob Bias model is also available for 45 additiona read more. the tube drive completely erases your low-end when the bass knob´s turned down.

We install OBL-2 units on all the B3's and C3's that we sell since it can add so much and at the same time take the strain off the speakers in the Leslie. THE ORIGINAL DESIGN: This is the ONLY hand-made and Authentic Tube Driver I personally designed it in 1983. Your use of TREK II products is spot on and especially the OBL-2. Re: BK Butler Tube Driver and SV20H thoughts Post by Cousin Muely » Thu 2:10 am I got to say this has been an eye opener and somewhere in this box is the missing ingredient Ive been wanting along with shouldve bought a Plexi a long time ago. Jim Huss, Keyboard Exchange International साल पहलेĮxcellent video and thanks for posting! I have been a fan of your style from the first time I heard you play so hope your videos get out to every Hammond fan on planet earth.
